Coming from a poor country, Sehin appreciates her new life in America by giving back to those less fortunate.
Her proudest achievements were spent helping the homeless in Bloomington, Illinois and working at famine feeding camps in rural Ethiopia.
“No matter what situation I’m in, I’m far better off than the majority of the world,” Sehin said. She is also a humanitarian traveling nationally to speak on behalf of Third World children and animal rights.
