She practices what she preaches. Besides her full time job at
Stanford, she founded and directs an exercise program for cancer survivors, “Living Strong, Living Well.”
A Stanford program, it’s offered free to participants in the Bay Area at 13 “Ys” from San Jose to San Francisco. Over 1,800 cancer survivors have completed the program.
